Losing hope is easy...

We have lost. Humanity is going down a spiral that... well... is shitty.
Wow... strong words, I know.

Truth is that I'm in Krakow, Poland. It's Sunday evening and I've done nothing the whole day. My love is far away, at home, and I've been here for too long. Nick Offerman (Ron Swanson in Park and Recs, for you series fans out there) said that he and his wife (Megan Mulally... another precious actress) decided early in their marriage that they would not accept jobs if it would have kept them apart more than 2 weeks. I agree with them, 1 week is ok, 2 weeks is bearable, but 3 weeks it's already too much being apart from your loved ones. And this month has been, hopefully, the last one. We'll see.

But... "we've lost", I was saying. G20 meeting was down there in Argentina and humanity lost. That was plainly clear since Trump was elected, since I never doubted that any kind of policy he would be approve would have been absolutely against any ecological hope. And, indeed, that happened. US, of course, are the for runner of any pollution. It's ok, it was ok, since it has been the most industrialized country in the world. And China close second. But China is 20 technological years behind (on "raw" technology, not IT)... and they are quickly catching up. So I was hoping US would have needed to be the forerunners on the "green" movement. And they kind of were... but then Trump came over and well... it all went down the drain.

So... what about that? The "about that" is that now we are already going to have the worst case scenario of ecological disaster. We were close to the line... now we crossed it.

It is the end of the World? Nope... of course not... but climate will worsen, temperature will rise, extreme events will become more extreme and so on. We will probably recover, but the 2000s will be a shitty century to live in... and we will lose so much life diversity that it's painfully to think of.

Well... that's what we are headed.

"Scarabeo"...

... o KDF-Wagen e vi lascio a indovinare (o meglio, ricercare) cosa possa significare. Comunque lo devo a un'amica (posso chiamarti amica? Di quelle amicizie alla lontana: simpatia senza conoscersi, via!) che ho confuso con un "commento" poco chiaro. Il fatto è questo. Ho degli amici stupidi. E non solo. Ma sono pure deficienti. Tralasciamo il fatto che lo sono pure io, sia stupido sia deficiente. Il fatto è che un giorno si girava in bicicletta per Milano (senza vento, quella volta) e uno fa all'altro: "Guarda là!" con voce normale e indifferente. L'altro guarda e "NOOOOO!!!!!!! Carognaaa!!!" e si becca un pugno su di un braccio... Va da sè che in poco tempo mi sono immesso anche io in questo interessantissimo gioco... e che sia riuscito a rifilare solo un pugno, mentre ne abbia ricevuti parecchi! Ma perché il pugno? Ochi kala

Perdonate la scarsa conoscenza della grafia greca (che poi non si dice grafia, ma non tengo voglia di pensare come si dica... spelling?), ma il titolo significa "non bene". E' un poco che i giorni oscillano tra il "kala" e l'"ochi kala". E tutto, per chi mi conosce, dipende come sempre dall' ammore ! Non è vero. Il mio umore è influenzato da mille eventi, anche se difficile è crederlo per chi mi conosce (come difficile credere nel mio innato ottimismo, e tutti mi dicono che son pessimista...), mille eventi e mille particolarità delle giornate che passo. Un raggio di sole? Un sassolino di ghiaia? Sì, influenzano il mio stato d'animo come e, stenterete a crederlo, di più, a volte, dell' ammore ! [E, tra parentesi, quante subordinate!] Ma oggi no.
